This February we're introducing "the knit doctor" on Tuesday's from 10:00 to noon. For $10 per visit, you can bring in any project or pattern and an instructor will assist you. After 9 visits, you get the 10th one FREE! There is no prepayment, obligation or time frame. Come in and try us out!

All make-up classes are to be completed by the 2nd week of the following month. No refunds on classes.
Knitting
BASICS
Ok, you’ve seen all that yarn and all those sticks, so what is that all about? Well, that’s what we’re here for. In four weekly classes, you’ll learn how to cast on, knit, purl and bind off. With just this little bit of knowledge, you will be able to read basic patterns to make that beautiful scarf, headband, prayer shawl, hat or small bag. You’ll walk away with a beautiful project you can be proud of and with this basic knowledge you will have a great foundation to build your skills and confidence.

BEYOND BASICS
Once you have that mastered, the knit and purl stitch, you can do anything so let’s move to the next level. How about increasing and decreasing, cables, knitting in the round and changing colors? In four short weeks you’ll expand your knitting knowledge and your wardrobe and nothing can stop you from knitting that gorgeous shawl, sweater, vest or skirt. Your entire family will benefit from your new found talent as you knit all of their favorite accessories.
Projects: Sweaters/Shrugs/Garment Construction Cost: $60 for 4 Weeks
FELTING
Projects: Choice of a variety of Small/Medium or Large Felted Bags, and Felted Brim Hats
INTERMEDIATE TO ADVANCE
You have been knitting for awhile and seem to be stuck on the same type of project. Well, now is the time to break the mold and e-x-p-a-n-d. In our intermediate to advance class you will learn to knit seamlessly from the top down, no more purling. We will discuss construction techniques, blocking, gage, and advanced cables and bobbles.
Project: Sweater of your choice or Fair Isle for Beginners. Cost: $60 for 4 weeks
GREAT AMERICAN AFGHAN
Create a priceless heirloom for your family with this wonderful afghan class. The Great American Afghan featuring a fabulous collection of 25 individual unique designer squares. The secret is the square. Since the squares are made one at a time, there are portable and interchangeable. You’re free to choose a square or color, making this afghan truly unique and your own. This is great for first-time afghan knitters. If you thought you could never complete an afghan, this class gets you there one square at a time. Class is on-going. Reservations are recommended as class space is limited.

SEVEN THINGS THAT MAKE OR BREAK A SWEATER
Let's get out of the rectangle! This class will teach techniques and tips to produce professional results in sweater making. The cost includes the book written by Margaret E. Fisher a TKGA Master Knitter.

SOCKS*SOCKS*SOCKS
This year we are focusing on SOCKS. We are offering Basic Socks, Magic Loop method and Two at a Time. Check our calendar for dates and times.
KIDS KNIT CLASSES
A basic knitting class for you and your child every Saturday from 10am-12pm. Special weekly classes for Home-School. Supplies provided.

SCARF OF THE MONTH
"Scarf of the Month" is a fun project in which we will highlight a particular yarn each month with a complimentary pattern. There will be a random drawing at the 15th of the next month taken from photographs of finished scarf projects and a $50 gift will be awarded to the winner.
